Messy Play Day at MELC School was a joyful and engaging experience where learning came alive through hands-on exploration. Our young learners eagerly immersed themselves in a variety of sensory activities, putting their hands into clay and paint while exploring different textures. From squishing and molding to mixing and spreading, the children freely expressed their creativity and curiosity in a fun, safe
environment. The purpose of this activity was to support sensory development, creativity, and fine motor skills. By feeling and experimenting with different materials, students strengthened their hand muscles, improved coordination, and built confidence in exploring new experiences. Messy Play Day reminded us that sometimes the best learning happens when children are encouraged to get a little messy while discovering the world around them.
